- Oral Conscious Sedation: Patient takes a pill one hour prior to dental visit and a series of pills during the appointment. This technique enables a relaxing and anxiety-free dental experience. May be prescribed when undergoing more complex procedures like full mouth reconstruction, dental implant placement and tooth extractions. Also used for routine single tooth treatments for anxious patients.
- Nitrous Oxide: Breathing in nitrous oxide, this odorless, colorless gas renders you calm, stress-free and euphoric. Provides anxiety relief for routine dental cleanings, fillings and crown restorations. There are no after effects. Patient can go back to daily routine with nitrous oxide treatment.
